August 31st – Tincombe Tea Party

Our annual Tea Party took place on Tincombe Green at the end of the hot dry Summer. Music, stalls, food and drink and picnics were enjoyed by everyone.

July 27th – ‘BioBlitz in the Park’ in collaboration with Plymouth University Ecology Department. A day spent recording species across the parks range of habitats. Results are uploaded to the Saltash BioWatch online database.

July 18th – Cornwall Butterfly Conservation visited the park in the morning to help us spot the amazing array of butterflies and moths in the various habitats of the park. The hot dry weather didn’t disappoint.

July 7th – An amazing day of discovery with children from Brunel Primary School

June 13th – Wildwatch walk in the Park

May 9th – Early evening Bat and Moth walk hosted by Stuart Matheson from the Cornwall Wildlife Trust

November 2025 – To celebrate 5 years of delivery at Tincombe Park, Forest for Cornwall celebrated with a morning of tree planting and willow weaving. Free trees were on offer to local residents to help create a local garden forest. We were delighted that Cornwall Councillor and Portfolio Holder for Environment and Climate Change, LOIC RICH, opened the days activities which also included a tree walk with Friends of Tincombe Park.

July 2025 – We welcomed 60 students from Brunel Primary School to spend the day in the park. Split into three groups the children enjoyed I-SPY walks, brass rubbing walks and habitat, nature and drawing sessions.
