The Tincombe Tea Party in its 3rd year was another major success due to grant funding from Saltash Town Council.
Local craft stalls lined the edge of Tincombe Green, while the Friends of Tincombe server tea and cakes. The Sunset Wing Band made their 3rd appearance at the Tea Party and as always were the main attraction of the day.
Peter Mancini, singer and MC kept the crowds entertained with his Frank Sinatra and 60’s tunes and for the first time at the Tea Party the U3a Ukulele Group with their lively songs really jived the audience up!
Thomas Tingcombe who owned this land in 1750 attended the afternoon to give his permission to the peasants to have their fun!
Also for the first time the Mayor along with the Mayoress, Richard and Sarah Bickford visited the event and the Mayor gave a speech thanking the Friends of Tincombe volunteers for taking good care of Tincombe Park.
